Castilho Art Week | Lisbon, Portugal | 2026
As part of the Castilho Art Week program, Ju Bock occupied Sanimaia with an exhibition composed of 13 works, transforming the store into a meeting space for textile art, design, and architecture.
The exhibition brought together tapestries and works in different formats, showcasing research that explores textures, volumes, and materials, where thread interacts with elements such as wood and ceramics.
By taking her work to a circuit that connects galleries, brands, and creative spaces in the city, the artist reaffirms her commitment to expanding the boundaries of contemporary tapestry and bringing new audiences closer to her artistic language.
Milan Design Week — Fuorisalone | Tropicalistic - 2026
In 2026, Ju Bock participated in Milan Design Week, as part of the curatorial team for Tropicalistic at Fuorisalone, one of the main circuits of exhibitions and parallel events during design week.
On that occasion, he presented the work "Encontros Noturnos", a tapestry inspired by the Cascais landscape at the beginning of the night, investigating the relationships between matter, atmosphere, and sensory perception.
This participation marked another step in the artist's international career, placing her work within an important context of dialogue between art, design, and contemporary creation.
Habitar — Fema Gallery, Cascais - 2026
Habitar is Ju Bock's second solo exhibition, presented at the Fema Gallery in Cascais. The show brings together 15 new works that expand the artist's research with thread, shifting it from the surface to space and proposing the idea of inhabiting as a physical and sensory experience.
The exhibition explores the time involved in making, the repetition of gesture, and the relationship between matter, body, and presence. The works traverse different techniques and materials, such as textile threads, structures, ceramics, and installations, creating environments that invite the visitor to engage with textile art.
More than contemplation, Habitar proposes an encounter. The works are constructed in the relationship between matter, space, and the public, affirming a moment of maturation in the artist's trajectory and expanding her field of investigation beyond traditional tapestry.
Tramas em Movimento — Corinthia Hotel, Lisbon - 2025
The exhibition “Tramas em Movimento” (Moving Weaves) occupies the space of the Hotel Corinthia, in Lisbon, with works that explore the dialogue between gesture, matter and time.
Between previously unseen tapestries and recent works, the exhibition presents my different phases as an artist — from the experimentation of organic forms to geometric and structured compositions. Each piece invites the observation of the movement that arises in the very act of weaving: the back and forth of the threads, the manual rhythm, the silence of the process.
ArtRio – Rio de Janeiro, Brazil - 2025
Participation in ArtRio, one of the main art fairs in Latin America, held at Marina da Glória, in Rio de Janeiro. In partnership with Fema Gallery, she presented the series Topography of Silence, composed of three new tapestries developed especially for the event.
ArtRio 2025 brought together more than 80 national and international galleries, as well as a program with lectures, exhibitions and curatorial projects, consolidating Rio de Janeiro as an important hub for contemporary art.
A significant step in her artistic journey, bringing contemporary textile work to one of the largest spaces for visibility and dialogue in the art world in the country.
Expanded Feminine – FEMA Gallery,
Cascais - 2025
The Expanded Feminine exhibition brings together women who transform matter into narrative. Ju Bock participates with the tapestry Corriente — a work made of movement and strength, like the waters of a waterfall: alive, continuous, impossible to contain. The exhibition opened on May 24, 2025, with a special meeting between artists and visitors at the FEMA Gallery in Cascais. Seeing her work inhabiting that space and being shared through glances and conversations was a moment of profound connection with her trajectory and with other artists she admires. The exhibition runs until June 28, 2025.
SP-Arte 2025 – Artistic Connections
Participating in SP-Arte was an opportunity for Ju Bock to connect with other artists and gallery owners, exchanging diverse visions and techniques. The experience of exploring different art forms and engaging in dialogue with creators like Igor strengthened her belief in art as a means of learning and connection, inspiring new approaches in her artistic practice.
MIAD – Madrid Inside Art & Design Fair 2025
Participation in MIAD marked Ju Bock's international debut with the tapestry Corriente. Inspired by the natural fluidity of water and electric currents, Corriente is more than a textile work—it is a continuous movement that unites technique and sensitivity. Measuring 1.70m x 2.90m, the piece is made of wool fibers and cotton threads, and was created to convey a balance between softness and strength. This milestone in the artist's career reinforces her presence on the international scene, bringing contemporary Brazilian tapestry to new spaces of recognition and connection.
Miami Art Basel - 2025
A visit to Art Basel Miami provided Ju Bock with an immersion in the contemporary art scene, allowing for enriching conversations with artists and striking sensory experiences. The exhibition of installations combining technology and tapestry broadened her creative horizons, reinforcing her motivation to explore new possibilities in her work.
Exhibition “Raízes” – Barros & Bernard Gallery, Lisbon - 2024
Ju Bock's first solo exhibition, Raízes (Roots), featured 11 original handmade tapestries inspired by memories from the Pampas region of Rio Grande do Sul.
The works comprised a limited series, including one piece produced with naturally dyed wool using pigments from native plants of Rio Grande do Sul, reaffirming the artist's commitment to conscious materials and the appreciation of her origins. An intimate exploration of form, texture, and affection—where each thread carries a story.
